The Role

We are looking for a React Native Mobile Engineer to join our engineering team. You’ll play a key role in building and optimizing our mobile experience, ensuring high performance, usability, and scalability. You’ll collaborate closely with the team to create a seamless, data-driven mobile experience that empowers political campaigns to make informed decisions on the go.

What You’ll Do

• Develop React Native applications for iOS and Android.

• Optimize mobile performance, ensuring smooth, responsive experiences.

• Work closely with designers to implement pixel-perfect UI components with strong attention to detail.

• Build and maintain reusable components using TypeScript and modern frontend architectures.

• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs, ensuring efficiency and security.

• Drive best practices in mobile accessibility, animations, and gesture handling.

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ years of mobile development experience, with expertise in React Native.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React Navigation, and state management.

• Experience working with GraphQL or REST APIs and integrating backend services.

• Deep understanding of mobile performance optimization, animations, and gesture handling.

• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD, app store submission, and OTA updates (e.g., CodePush, Fastlane).

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Significant experience in React Native mobile development and UI/UX implementation.

• Relevant coursework or certifications in mobile development, accessibility, or performance optimization.

Bonus Points

• Experience working with Expo, native modules (Swift/Kotlin), or AI-driven applications.

• Previous experience building mobile applications in the political tech, analytics, or campaign space.

• Ability to relocate to our HQ in Washington, D.C. (if applicable).
